There's a biography elsewhere on the Site, but who am I apart from that?
Someone who loves life, who is concerned about our collective future, who believes in an orderly, responsible and even-handed approach.
Someone who is inspired by poetry and science fiction. Who believes that the two pillars of any civilized nation are science and art. Who believes that humanity, despite its many failings, is good at heart.
Someone who thinks that Earth, our only home at this time, is more fragile than we realize, and that we therefore owe it to ourselves and to our children and grandchildren to protect it more effectively.
Finally, someone who through his education, his encounters with others, his travels, his reading and his work, has become a person who tries to do his best for the well-being of his community.
