5 Years of Mauril: Celebrating Our Official Languages and Building the Future Together
Today, on Official Languages Day, we are celebrating a key milestone: Mauril's 5th anniversary.
Five years ago, we launched this platform with a deep conviction. We knew that in Canada, approximately one in four people is currently learning French or English. Facing this reality, we wanted to offer an innovative, free, and accessible solution for all, with no commercial purpose.
Today, Mauril is much more than just an app. It is a bridge to integration, culture, and community.
An impact made possible thanks to you
From day one, our approach was intended to be different. By using 100% culturally meaningful content created by CBC and Radio-Canada, and by entrusting the pedagogical design to a team of real teachers, we wanted to create a unique immersion experience.
However, the true reach of this tool only materialized thanks to our partners in the field.
Whether it's helping newcomers integrate into their new community or allowing professionals to develop essential skills for the job market, Mauril takes on its full meaning when it is in the hands of educators, social workers, and institutional leaders. To all of you who integrate Mauril into your classes, reception programs, and government initiatives: thank you.
